The Network Receives Two Horizon Awards for Code of Conduct and Ethics Training

Company’s ethics training and communications solutions recognized for outstanding achievement in interactive media competition.

ATLANTA – September 17, 2013 – The Network, Inc., a leading provider of governance, risk and compliance (GRC) solutions, has received two 2012 Horizon Interactive Gold Awards for code of conduct training courses, “Living Our Values: Code of Conduct and Sales Compliance Training,” produced for NetApp, and “Know Our Code: Code of Business Conduct and Ethics Training,” produced for a global financial services company.

Horizon Gold Interactive AwardThe 11th annual Horizon Interactive Awards, a leading international interactive media competition, recognized The Network with two Gold-level awards in the “Websites/E-Learning” category. Both entries feature web-based, interactive code of conduct training, which were designed to reach a broad employee audience with engaging and memorable scenarios and interactions.

“The 2012 competition has, once again, raised the bar for future competitions,” said Mike Sauce, founder of the Horizon Interactive Awards. “I can speak for the judges by saying that we all were very impressed by the quality of the digital solutions by all of the entrants this year. There really seems to be a convergence of all forms of media, providing rich user experiences with a renewed focus on sound marketing and design principles that clearly communicate a message.”

Moriarty continued: “NetApp reports that thousands of employees completed the Code of Conduct and Sales Training course. Our financial services client enrolled more than 10,000 staff members in the Code of Business Conduct course and received a 100% completion rate. Both organizations said that their employees were especially pleased with the layered ethics scenarios and the use of multimedia to make a connection between company mission, ethics and obligations.”

The 2012 Horizon Interactive Awards saw more than 1000 entries from more than 25 countries, recognizing web sites, videos, online advertising, print media and mobile applications from the world’s best interactive media producers. The judging process involves a Horizon Interactive Awards advisory panel, end user panel and a worldwide panel of judges consisting of industry professionals.
