Protect Your Organization from High-Risk Behavior
Workplace violence training is fast becoming a crucial element of an ethics and compliance program. According to the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), workplace violence is on the rise, reaching “epidemic proportions.” Organizations are taking this trend seriously, striving to provide work environments that are free of acts of aggression.
The Network’s workplace violence training course “Workplace Violence: Being Alert to High-Risk Behavior,” is designed to increase employees’ overall awareness of workplace violence, including personality characteristics and warning signs that could foreshadow an incident of violence.
Rather than expecting employees to predict this behavior, this workplace violence training course assists employees in recognizing high-risk behaviors and encourages them to share their concerns to protect themselves, their co-workers and the public.
This course was developed in partnership with Marc McElhaney, Ph.D., Director of Critical Response Associates and the President of its parent organization, the Centers for Dispute Resolution, LLC.
