The Network Introduces Enhanced NetClaim Reporting System

Norcross, Georgia, March 31, 2004

The Network, Inc., a leading supplier of insurance claim reporting services, today announced the release of NetClaim 4.0. This new version of the company’s award-winning software improves the flexibility and accuracy of claim reporting.

“NetClaim continues to set the standard for excellence in claim reporting,” said Tony Malone, Chief Executive Officer of The Network, Inc. “The system enhancements provide greater flexibility, improving the quality and the completeness of information.”

NetClaim provides Third Party Administrators, insurers and employers nationwide with claim reporting services. Client-specific guidelines are programmed into the system, where they automatically determine the questions asked of callers who are reporting a claim, as well as the process by which claims are sent to recipients.

“It’s like having two Interview Specialists on every call. Our system focuses on the details while our highly trained people focus on providing exceptional customer service,” said Malone.

“Immediate notification of time-sensitive claims is a critical aspect of any claim intake service and can produce dramatic savings for clients. NetClaim analyzes the information received and immediately sends our Escalation Team the right notification procedure based on details like the time of day, day of the week, location involved and type of incident,” said Malone.

The new release of NetClaim expands the flexibility of the system by programming quality assurance checks at any level of the client’s organization.

“The enhanced features enable us to consistently handle all of a client’s diverse reporting needs. For example, if there are a few locations that have different lines of coverage than the rest of the company, the system remembers, and therefore the report is handled properly. Having technology assist during the interview is important because we handle over 1 million transactions a year. Eliminating the potential for human error allows us to meet each client’s unique requirements while providing industry-leading accuracy,” said Malone.

The enhanced system also includes Companion Claim™, a feature that streamlines the reporting of multiple claims by pre-filling information.
