Management Trainee

As a Management Trainee, you will develop the skills necessary to manage a staff of customer service representatives within an inbound call center environment. Learn how to monitor, coach and develop employees for optimal performance. Become responsible for employee records to include performance appraisals, delivering feedback and administration of disciplinary action when required. Handle escalated calls, and ensure achievement of all departmental goals (i.e. service levels, team quality, resolution of customer service issues, budget, etc). Identify operational issues, and process improvements while concurrently delivering excellent customer service. Additional responsibilities may include special assignments as assigned. At The Network, we are dedicated to improving our customers’ performance, which extends to helping each other achieve results.  There will be times when we will be required to perform other duties outside of our competency profile as requested, directed or assigned in order to meet business needs, maintain high quality of service and uphold the mission and values statements of our company.

We structure our compensation or base and bonus program to motivate and reward superior performance: Your salary at The Network is based on how well you perform. We are a 24 hours a day/365 days a year Contact Center so scheduled hours will vary , including some weekend shifts.

Required Skills And Experience:

  • At least 3 years Call Center experience and/or 1 year of supervisory experience in any industry.
  • Proficiency in English to perform Quality Assurance and Dissemination of all reports taken by the Interview Specialists.
  • Excellent oral/written communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to work closely with the Dissemination and Training Departments to achieve a high degree of internal and external satisfaction.
  • Leadership mind-set
  • Flexibility in schedule and training times

Preferred Skills & Experiences:

  • BA/BS in Business/Marketing, English, Risk & Insurance, or equivalent. Recent participation in a structured management development training program.
  • Experience in supervising a call center of 20-30 people.
  • Experience in the Risk & Insurance business.
  • Ability to create spreadsheets and use Excel and other MS Office applications
  • Working knowledge of call center computer hardware/software (especially CMS software)
