LMS Implementation Specialist

As the eLearning Implementation Specialist for The Network, you are responsible for delivering services to tier 1 customers. This is a new position that has been created in response to growing demand for our products and services. Additionally, you will:

Act as Implementation Manager for certain tier 1 and tier 2 accounts, leading customers through their LMS setup and customization or web-based course content deployment.
Ensure “Above and Beyond” support is delivered to customers and that they are fully satisfied with the level of customer service delivered.
Escalate technical issues to the 2nd level technical support team and interact with the sales and account management team.
Act as SME and 1st level technical troubleshooter for eLearning technologies such as LMS, SCORM, AICC, Internet browsers, and content authoring tools.
Conducts LMS training sessions on an as needed basis.
Use basic project management skills to ensure customer facing goals and timelines are met.

Required Experience and Skills

College degree or equivalent.
2 years experience administering multiple learning management systems (LMS).
Understanding of eLearning technologies, such as SCORM and AICC.
Solid understanding of eLearning authoring tools as they relate to learning management systems. Examples include Adobe Captivate, Articulate Presenter, and TechSmith Camtasia.
Working knowledge of relational databases.
Working knowledge of HTML, Flash, and JavaScript, familiarity with XML.
Extremely detail oriented and accurate – if the small things bug you, that’s a good thing.
Strong pro-active communication skills. Must be highly articulate and write well.
Must be self-directed
Ability to manage change effectively and work in a fast paced environment with a focus on simply getting the job done.
Must be a naturally organized person – if you like lists, and make lists, and live by lists, this is a good place for you.
Must have excellent technical skills and enjoy technology.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office.
Must be a strong leader willing to speak up and push for what you know is best for the customer and therefore the company.
Must have strong customer service and diplomatic skills.
