Job Title: Software Developer

JOB DESCRIPTION

We seek an innovative Software Developer with strong web development experience to help build and enhance our company’s revenue generating software products.  For this opportunity, you will design, extend and develop the company’s SaaS product  using JavaScript, Ajax, JSON, XML and other web services technologies. We are looking for someone who is passionate about emerging web technology and tools and how they can be used to empower our clients.  In addition, you will:
  • Use knowledge of new technologies and open source software that facilitate front-end web development to create business solutions that exceed our clients’ expectations
  • Define and document the user experience with creation of wireframes, sitemaps, interaction flows, and prototypes.
  • Turn prototypes into application code
  • Interact with design, backend and product teams on application usability, features and performance
  • Mentor team members, specifically with front end programming concepts
  • Work with quality assurance to ensure a high level of quality in the software product
  • Provide estimates, documentation and status updates for all assigned work

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • 3+ years strong coding experience in SaaS web application development (C#, ASP.NET, JavaScript, HTML, CSS)
  • Strong presentation-layer skills with expert knowledge and passion for front-end technologies such as DHTML/CSS/Javascript and AJAX
  • Experience with ASP.NET MVC frameworks
  • 3+ years experience with relational database programming/analysis, using MS SQL Server
  • Experience using modern JavaScript libraries, such as JQuery, Prototype/Scriptaculous, MooTool, etc.
  • Experience with Microsoft Visual Studio 2005 or 2008
  • Keen eye for clean UI implementation and knowledge of website design best practices
  • Creative approach to problem solving, innovation and issue resolution
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills; good writing skills
  • Ability to effectively communicate your ideas to management and other project stakeholders
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team
  • Must be comfortable in an environment where ideas and code are subjected to group scrutiny

PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Experience with international multi-lingual web sites
  • Degree in Web and Multimedia Design
