Online Marketing Manager

Job Title: Online Marketing Manager

JOB DESCRIPTION

The Online Marketing Manager is a key position within the Marketing department at The Network. This position is primarily responsible for effectively managing the company website, search engine performance, social media efforts, interactive tools and assisting with marketing campaign execution. This individual must have the technical skills to monitor, maintain, enhance and update the website and integrate it with other systems, most importantly Salesforce.com and web analytics tools. Further, this position is responsible for driving/increasing traffic to The Network’s website through SEO efforts and for continually monitoring, optimizing and reporting on search results.

Specific duties include:
  • Work with web content experts in various areas: marketing team, product marketing and sales. Present content in most compelling format on website. Make sure website adheres to company messaging, positioning and branding style guides.
  • Maximize traffic driven to the site through search engine optimization (SEO) and drive repeat traffic through dynamic content.
  • Responsible for the development, maintenance and roadmap of The Network’s website to increase end user and business partner awareness.
  • Must be technically oriented with the ability to critique, verify and test web pages.
  • Build web based metrics to optimize the user experience and drive increased online leads, sales and revenues.
  • Collect metrics and perform analysis and reporting of website performance through web analytics tools. Perform ad hoc analytics as requested.
  • Design the website to generate leads and provide information to shorten the sales cycle.
  • Must work with others in marketing group to tie website forms effectively into Salesforce.com for effective lead processing.
  • Manage execution of, and report results on, the company’s social media strategy.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • At least 5-7 years web marketing experience required in a B2B / high-tech/software/SaaS environment
  • Proven ability to manage and report on SEO/search results and successfully use web analytics tools
  • Experience integrating websites with Salesforce.com
  • Exceptional project management and creative thinking skills
  • Strong technical, analytical and problem solving skills
  • Demonstrated experience in website concepts
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Detail oriented
  • Aggressive and persuasive in communications
  • Effective priority and time management skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Internet applications

EDUCATION

  • Bachelor’s Degree (Business, Communications or Marketing) or equivalent experience required
