Georgia Perimeter College recognizes that an ethical, efficient, and effective work environment is essential to our continuing to successfully accomplish our mission. As a result, we have always placed a high priority on assuring that each member of our college community has the opportunity and means to convey any matter that could compromise that environment.
Reporting through your supervisory chain frequently produces the most thorough and timely resolution of a matter and is encouraged. However, other reporting avenues, such as the Department of Public Safety, Human Resources, and Internal Audit, have been and continue to be readily available. In keeping with our efforts to expand alternatives for reporting matters of significance, we have now added Hotline reporting through a service provided by an independent company, The Network. This service is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and allows you to voice your concerns, while remaining anonymous, if you prefer.
Of special concern are fraud, waste, and abuse as well as harassment of any kind, given that they so directly impact our stewardship responsibilities and the well-being of individuals within our college community. Yet, we would encourage you to report any other significant issue as well through any of the methods available to you.
On this page is a summary of the types of things that you may choose to report, as well as information, on how to report through the Hotline. It’s more than just a Hotline through which individuals can report issues of suspected fraud, waste or abuse. We want to also solicit questions, comments and feedback about areas which could be streamlined and made more efficient and effective.
Your input is essential to ensure that GPC maintains a positive, productive workplace. This is your system and we encourage you to use it – together we will achieve excellence.

What to Report
Examples of concerns that may be reported to The Network include:
| Financial Matters Accounting or internal control issues, fraud, theft or other financial issues |
| Safety Vandalism, unsafe working conditions, environmental issues or other safety matters |
| Research All issues dealing with research programs and funding |
| Academic Misrepresentation of credentials, academic dishonesty or other academic violations |
| Human Resources Confidentiality, data privacy, copyright violations or other waste or abuse of resources or information |
| Athletics All issues dealing with athletic department or programs |
| Information Systems Activities related to hacking, password sharing, unauthorized access to systems or networks, software copyright violations |
How to Report
If you see or suspect unethical or illegal behavior, you may report your concerns anonymously by contacting The Network:

After processing the report, The Network will provide the information to designated college officials for appropriate action. Reports submitted to The Network will be handled promptly and discreetly. Retaliation of any kind will not be tolerated.
